Overview
Designed an AR-powered sustainable wayfinding system for Microsoft’s Redmond campus to enhance accessibility and brand expression, aligning with the company’s 2030 Carbon Negative mission. Collaborated with Microsoft’s Real Estate Development team to define digital experience requirements, translating them into an interactive signage concept that integrates environmental impact with spatial UX.
My role includes:
conceptual design for digital signage elements—including color palette, spatial layout, typography, and form factor—optimized for legibility, brand alignment, and AR integration within the built environment.
multiple design iterations and tested them in person at Microsoft’s campus using a mobile AR application to simulate real-world interactions, allowing real-time evaluation of signage placement, accessibility, and user interaction. While the AR platform itself was developed by an external team, I defined the user experience and visual design vision, ensuring it translated effectively into the augmented reality environment.
